The universal wall adapter can be used to secure Phoenix Contact power supply units directly onto a surface. If a DIN rail is not available or is already full, power supply units can be mounted directly on the wall of the control cabinet, for example. The universal wall adapter is also useful in the event of extreme environmental conditions. The DIN rail adapter supplied as standard with power supply units is unscrewed from the housing and the universal wall adapter is simply secured using the same screws
